GRACE + FLAVOUR SPONSORS

This project could not continue its success without the 'no strings attached' help we have already received from the following...

The Lady Noel Byron Trust was the very first supporter to come up with hard cash. The trustees very kindly offered to cover the cost of the lease as well as our planning applications and Land Registry fees.

The Community Foundation for Surrey is an independent charitable trust established to inspire local giving for local need. The Community Foundation works both with donors who want to give something back to their local communities and the voluntary groups providing vital services for local people. For more information please visit www.cfsurrey.org.uk

The Community Foundation for Surrey supported us by providing a generous grant towards new windows for the Potting Shed project.

The Parish Councils of East & West Horsley have been very supportive from the outset, not just in terms of advice and moral support but also manpower and funds. East Horsley PC provided seed funding. West Horsley paid for our planning application.

Horsley Directory - Effective communication is key to our success so we are very grateful to local publication The Horsley Directory and its editors Rachel & Brett for updating you all on our progress and including diary dates. The Horsley Directory is published every two months and provides the Horsleys and surrounding communities with diverse information of local relevance.

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
Although they are no longer in operation we would like to acknowledge the donations and support provided by Horsley Farmers’ Market and Horsley Countryside Preservation Society.

The National Trust - is recognised as the nation's heritage guardian, but its activities are much more widespread that just looking after our grand houses.

The land on which the G + F project is built is owned by the Trust and we simply could not have done it without them.
They are not just providing access to land, but also advice, guidance and support of a kind that has breathed life into something that was once just an embryonic - and seemingly impossible idea.

Both PCs have provided generous donations for subsequent projects such as wildlife hedging. Both Councils work closely with Grace & Flavour to provide individual allotments to local residents as part of the project. Thank you!

Squires Garden Centre - Many local residents will be familiar with Squires Garden Centre - stacked full of all things green (not to mention the garden products, gift shop or the restaurant). Sincere thanks to Ian Wright at Squires, West Horsley for donations of materials etc.

Gristman Tree Surgery - is a professional tree management company operating comprehensive tree and woodland management services in south east England, principally Surrey and Sussex and have done an excellent job of caring for ours.
