I feel a very unusual sensation - if it is not indigestion, I think it must be gratitude. ~Benjamin Disraeli

Thank You! This project cannot be succesful without the 'no strings attached' type of help we have already received from the following...

Amazing support from Clive Robertson at Seddons, erstwhile West Horsley Parish Councillor, without whose advice and time we simply could not have secured the lease (and yes we know we're not quite there).

The Green Tree Man - Justin, for supporting us on the ground ::-)

Tozer Seeds - As well as being the largest UK vegetable seed breeder (with international reach), Tozer has a web-based division selling smaller quantities of Tozer commercial seed to growers in the UK and Europe www.tozerseedsdirect.com , and a division which specialises in pest & disease control. We are simply thrilled to have their support, not just for seeds but also for specialist advice.

Cobham timber supplier (though they have National coverage with a branch network) offering collection or delivery of a large stock of fencing materials, timber, fencing, fates, trellis, sleepers, and decking. Almost as soon asyou step onto the G&F site you will see how heavily we have relied on Challenge support. We are particularly pleased with and grateful for our beautiful entrance gate. You can reach Challenge by clicking the link above or by calling (Cobham) on 01932 866 555.

The National Trust is recognised as the nation's heritage guardian, but its activities are much more widespread that just looking after our grand houses. The land on which this project is being built is owned by the Trust and we simply cannot do it without them. They are not just helping us gain access to land though, the National Trust has been providing advice, guidance and support of a kind that has breathed life into something that was once just an embryonic - and seemingly ridiculous - idea.

The Parish Councils of both East & West Horsley have been supportive from the outset, not just in terms of advice and moral support but also sheer manpower and funds. East Horsly got us started with seed funding, and West Horsley have paid for our planning application. Both Parish Councils ae working closely with Grace & Flavour to provide individual allotments to a number of local residents as part of the project. Thank you!

Thanks to the trustees of the Lady Noel Byron Trust for being the very first supporters to come up with hard cash - they have very kindly offered to cover the cost of the lease as well as our planning applications and Land Registry fees.

Effective communication is key to our success and we are very grateful to local publication The Horsley Directory and its editor Diana Isherwood Stone for updating you all on our progress and including diary dates.

Few local residents will be unfamiliar with Squires Garden Centre - stacked full of all things green (not to mention the garden products and gift shop or the restaurant). Sincere thanks to Ian Wright at Squires West Horsley for our very first (massive) box of seeds and of course to Suttons Seeds themselves.
